2026–2027 : Training Schedule for My Earth in 180’

These training sessions will be held preferably in person—with the option for remote participation, over the course of one day. They will be open to all members of the higher education and research community and aim to : introduce you to the workshop and how it works, immerse you in a workshop session, help you discover its components, and teach you how to facilitate a workshop so that you can independently lead the “serious game” during future sessions.
The training sessions last 6 hours and 30 minutes :
– Part 1 : Participation in a workshop Ma Terre en 180 minutes (3 hours and 30 minutes)
– Part 2 : Training on the tool and workshop facilitation (3 hours)
The training sessions will be held at the Saint Martin d’Hères University Campus, at the Institute of Environmental Geosciences, and will be co-organized by Camille Jourdin & Brigitte Nonque, as well as Nicolas Champollion & Nicolas Gratiot.
Training Objectives
– Understand the challenges of reducing greenhouse gas emissions at the local and national levels and be able to convey an awareness-raising message to participants at the game table,
– Identify the stages of the “serious game” process, from setting up a game table to facilitating the session and presenting the results,
– Help participants write their “surprise reports” and embody their characters,
– Facilitate negotiation phases by rephrasing proposals and fostering the emergence of collective intelligence,
– Summarize the discussions and present the results during the debriefing phase in coordination with the other game tables.
Preliminary Schedule
– 8:45 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. : Welcome
– 9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. : Workshop
– 12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. : Shared lunch
– 1:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. : Facilitation training
