Working together to develop sustainable solutions to reduce our carbon footprint

My Earth in 180’ is the very first collaborative workshop created by and for the academic community, designed to build scenarios together for reducing our carbon footprint. To build these scenarios, My Earth in 180’ invites you to take part in a large-scale workshop session held online, in two stages, between 14 and 18 June : a 1.5-hour awareness-raising stage on 14 or 15 June, followed by a solution-finding phase, a 2-hour brainstorming session in the form of a game, on 18 June.

Would you like to help transform practices within higher education and research organisations ? Are you keen to discuss, in a light-hearted and informal way, the carbon footprint of a laboratory by examining how your activities are organised ? Do you want to propose concrete measures, tailored to the specific nature of your activities, to reduce our carbon footprint by 50% by 2030 ?

Choose your virtual game team, in the field that interests you — climatology, Earth dynamics, society and the environment, modelling, technology and transition, air quality, water resources, etc. — and select the timetable that suits you best.
There is just one requirement : you must have a computer and a good internet connection.

More than 50 facilitators have been trained and are ready to welcome and support you for this large-scale session. Mentors will be present for each game to bridge the gap between science and society, offering their sometimes unconventional perspectives on our practices and solutions.
With a shared goal : to work together to develop solutions that will help us change our practices.

My Earth in 180’ has been approved as a tool by the Labos1point5 Experimentation team.

Please note : the game sessions will be recorded so that the data they generate can be analysed.
