The Workshop

► Two 1½-hour online sessions
► Personal carbon footprint assessment between the two sessions
► Groups of 5 players and 1 facilitator per group
► Materials per group : 1 game board, 10 character cards (2 per player), reference materials and digital sticky notes

This collaborative workshop features research teams from various fields, made up of characters (inspired by real life) with a range of profiles, such as the ‘what’s-the-point’ type (‘what’s the point of cutting back if others aren’t doing anything ? ”), the “hummingbird” (“I’m aware of the issue ; I’ve changed my personal habits”), the “bulldozer” (“my reputation and my role justify my travel, full stop”) or the “activist” (“I’m involved in collective climate action”). Playing characters whose views we do not necessarily share helps us to better understand the different possible perspectives and to identify ways to change behaviour.
